90# Chinook Salmon Found in California River
During a survey of Chinook Salmon in Battle Creek in California, Fisheries biologist Doug Killam came across a monster Chinook that when it was alive, probably weighed in at over 90#!
"I have counted tens of thousands of salmon during my career and this is the biggest I have ever seen", said Doug Killam DFG Associate Fisheries Biologist.
I just wish we got more monster Chinook like this one coming back into Puget Sound! It would be amazing to hook into a ‘Nook the size of this one!
