Ashley Lake (Montana)

The North Idaho crew just got back from a fishing trip over to Ashley over in Montana.  This is one of those rare events that will even get the Old Man up off the front  portch and in the truck.  As you can see, they don't pack light for this trip though.  From the looks of it they make nomadic tribes proud with their camp gear.   But the good news is that they limited out for the couple days that they were there and brought back a hell of a load of Silvers.  They did say that they weren't big, just right for smoking and that the bigger ones are usually caught later on, but not in the big numbers found on this trip.

Now we don't have many pictures of this trip, or any video since the guys were too busy fishing to pick up the damn camera, but as you can imagine fun was had by all!  Pictures guys!  More pictures!

So if you are looking for a great late spring trip, put some research into Ashley.  With a little practice, the right equipment and a little luck, there are heaps of fish to bring in!
