On that thought, I saw this the other day and thought I would pass it along. It is a free guide to hiking Snohomish County, freshly updated with hike details that include driving directions, topographical maps and a handy chart that lists each hike’s roundtrip distance, easy-to-difficult rating, elevation gain, best season to hike it, and closest community. With 30 hikes featured, you have to be able to find one that you will like.
One of my favorite strolls in the woods that is on this list is Lord Hill. Nothing difficult, but it is easy to get to, a reasonably easy hike, fun for the family and the there are some cool views and wildlife along the way.
Turn off the TV and get outdoors! You know there aren’t always fish running in Puget Sound or in the rivers, so you don’t have an excuse every weekend.
