If you haven’t read it, please review The Basics of Cooking Fish!

A simple and easy way to prepare a fish fillet for dinner, this is a basic recipe, that can be adapted to just about any type of fish. Be sure to trim off any excess fat an pull as many bones as possible from your fillets.  This can be done fairly easily by pressing on the meat, and pulling them with a tweezers.  Seasonings can be added to the breading as you like them.

1 Cup Water
2 6-8oz Fish Fillets (~3/4 of an inch thick)
1/2 cup Seasoned Flour
3/4 cup Corn Meal
4 Tbs. Oil

Coat the fillets in flour, shake off the excess.  Dip them quickly in the water and coat with the corn meal.  Heat the oil in a pan over medium high heat, and add the fish.  Cook 3-5 minutes per side, depending on the fillets thickness.

It doesn’t get much easier than this!
